Beautifully converted 18th Century Grade Two listed Manor House is in a prime location overlooking the beach and has breathtaking estuary views. It is only a minute’s walk from the centre of the village and amenities. Sleeps four. Allocated parking. A picnic table overlooking the beach is perfect for al fresco dining.

The main entrance door to the building is linked by intercom to each flat and gives access to the easy-rise stairwell.

Flat 6 is on the second floor and has an attractive, comfortable living room with feature Georgian fireplace and superb outlook over Shaldon beach and the Teign estuary. Wall-mounted 38” Samsung HD TV with Samsung Freeview HD and Blu-Ray DVD/CD player.

Leading off the living room is bedroom three with a single bed and a combination wardrobe.

The fitted kitchen has a Bosch washer/dryer, a microwave oven, 5 foot fridge/freezer, NEFF gas hob, extractor hood and Bosch electric oven. The dining table seats six.

Adjoining the kitchen is a cloakroom with toilet and hand basin.

Upstairs the main double bedroom, combination wardrobe, chest of drawers, a child’s cot and a bedside table.

The second bedroom (restricted headroom) has a single bed and a chest of drawers.

The bathroom has a fitted white suite including corner bath with hand-held shower, illuminated shaving mirror with 110/240v shaver outlet and a heated towel rail.

The flat is double/secondary glazed throughout. The beds are made up on arrival. Hand and bath towels are provided.

Welcome to the picturesque village of Shaldon! Situated at the mouth of the River Teign, this quaint old village with its narrow streets and lovely village green provides a most attractive setting for your holiday. Among the many things to do and see are:-

  • "1785 Day" from May until September on every Wednesday, the villagers dress in georgian costume and there are many special attractions on the village green, with free entertainment in the evenings.
  • 18 Hole Approach Golf Course.
  • Botanical Gardens
  • Shaldon Wildlife Trust - Endangered primates, exotic birds, small mammals & nocturnal house.
  • Shaldon Water Carnival with its Parade or Dressed Boats and Shaldon Regatta (August).
  • Enjoy the sandy estuary beach or go through the Smugglers tunnel to Ness Cove Beach, a larger and sandy beach. With the completion of a multi-million pound South West Water "Clean Sweep" scheme, we can boast of some of the cleanest beaches in the South West.
  • Take the passenger ferry to Teignmouth (a few minutes).
  • Or, just potter about and enjoy the atmosphere of this charming village. There is a good selection of village shops, restaurants & pubs.
  • For a change of scene, Torquay is about 8 miles, Exeter and Dartmoor National Park about 16 miles and many other delightful places are within easy reach.
