No.19 Fore St

No 19 is a delightful newly renovated cosy apartment in the centre of the picturesque village of Shaldon.   It takes up the ground floor of an old 19th Century house giving it great character but with all the modern comforts expected today.   Ideal location for all Shaldon has to offer with individual shops, cafés, restaurants, pubs and the beach just minutes if not seconds after stepping from the front door.

The sitting room has a high ceiling with large feature window creating a light, bright room with great ambiance.   There is a TV with DVD player a selection of games, books and DVD’s.   The sofa converts into a 4’ 6” bed giving a great opportunity for families to stay.  There is a Butterfly dining table with 4 chairs, neatly tucked away until it’s needed.  The hallway has a unique feature curved brick wall exposing some of the history of the house.

If you choose not to sample the delightful local pubs and restaurants to dine in then a well equipped galley kitchen including oven, ceramic hob, fridge (with ice box), dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave, toaster are all at your finger tips.

The bedroom has a  5’ zip and link bed giving versatility of accommodation if you have children.  A door from the bedroom leads out onto the courtyard which has bistro furniture ideal for sitting at with that lazy cup of morning coffee whilst planning your day ahead or later in the day with a glass of ‘something’ after the sun has gone down over the yard arm.

There is a modern newly fitted bathroom with a large shower. Heated towel rail for cosy towels which are provided.

No 19 is a self contained romantic retreat where all you need is on your doorstep.  Or return to the good old days of the old fashioned seaside holiday where all the kids will need is a crab line and a bucket and spade to create special memories they will have for life.   We think No 19 is special and hope you do too.
