So what is there to do in Shaldon at night!

You won't find raves, funky nightclubs or anything too edgy. If you want a little of this, we suggest you go to Torquay. Most people however stay in Shaldon and enjoy the village spirt: Pubs, restaurants, late night beach walks, a trip to a Teignmouth restaurant over the bridge and more subtle quiet relaxation.

You will also find lots of things going on especially in the season: Regattas, water events, music evenings and galas and much more. All these things can be found through the menu items or looking at the events calendar shown on each page.

Every Monday evening at the Clifford Arms, live Jazz  played until late, with special Jazz Café Menu served. Reservations for dinner usually required- otherwise free entry to the elegant bar in the pub.
